What a great club and Chapter we have and the Christmas party only showed what a great group of members we are. There were over fifty of us who came and enjoyed the good food, the gift exchange and Santa.
Speaking of Santa, we decided to give him the job this year with the reading of the Mr. and Mrs. Right. He had never seen this game before and laughed and laughed. We are thinking he would love to do this again. Of course, as usual, we always screw it up. The gift exchange is always a hit.
Thanks to June for the beautiful decorations on our tables and in the windows. She always comes up with some neat things.
Anita as our outgoing long-term President was given a gift card to Kohl’s. It is going to come in really handy as she is going to Florida after the holidays.
This year the Silver Spur award was presented to Art for all the work he has done since joining the club. He spent a lot of his time and money behind the scenes working with Dave Glass in Hocking to get our group camp in and now the future of updating the trails and maps there. Congratulations.
Everyone is looking forward to the New Year – and hopefully with less rain and better riding weather!
